Xintrin Treasure Fleet

The legendary Xintrin Treasure Fleet makes a round trip from the Xintrin homeworld of Xinkul to Terra, the capitol of the Terran Protectorate, once every three years, stopping to trade at every major world in between. It is a massive armada of goods manufactured by the Xintrin Merchant Guild and sold or traded in the Terran Protectorate. On the return trip it is loaded with goods and products from humanity which will likewise be sold in the Merchant Guild. The fleet is filled with the rarest and most luxurious goods and its value is rumored to be worth hundreds of trillions of credits.
The fleet passes through the Free Colonies, which lies between the Xintrin Merchant Guild and the Terran Protectorate, and which also hosts a number of pirate bands. But most think it would take a main battle fleet to even threaten the treasure fleet and it has not come to any harm in over 90 years, since its inception.
